HOUSTON – As thousands make plans to attend the 2010 Houston International Festival (iFest), be one of the first to purchase an-all new V.I.P membership and experience the Islands of the Caribbean – in style! This exclusive pass allows V.I.P festival admission for all four days, a four-day parking pass, survival bag of goodies, access to a members-only gate, commemorative pass, food/beverage coupons, and access to the coveted iFest V.I.P Lounge where special iFest guests can enjoy the shade, comfortable seating and a premium view of the Bud Light World Music Stage. In addition, the V.I.P. membership allows you to go behind the scenes on a special iFest tour at 12:30 on April 17. Quantities are limited on V.I.P memberships which are priced at $149 per person and $249 for two. iFest also offers a Weekend Passport for guests and includes four admission tickets, a two-day parking pass, t-shirt, discounts on food and beverage and members-only gate access for $99. The streets of Downtown Houston will be transformed in a global playground in April, as the 40th annual Houston International Festival spotlights the Caribbean April 17-18 and 24-25, 2010, with world musical performances, international arts and crafts markets, artisan demonstrations, interactive exhibits and plenty of food and fun for all ages.
Advanced tickets are available for $12 (through April 12). Regular tickets are $17 and are available for purchase at www.ifest.org, H-E-B stores and at the iFest gate. Children (age 3-12) are $3 on Saturdays. Children 12 and under are free on Sundays, courtesy of Target Kids Free Sundays program.
