ESPANTAPAJAROS

 

Pablo de Vera musical trajectory traces back to 1990 in his homeland of Argentina. Since his father was a musician, playing guitar was natural for him and soon after he started making his own songs.

 

His ambition in music initiated at the age of 15 and he starts playing with different bands until he decided to make his own project and that's when ESPANTAPAJAROS was born.

 

In 2001, he recorded his first independent album "Madera" with his brother Mariano which helped record his first demo back in 1996. In 2005 at age 32, Pablo decided to embark on a journey that ended up in Houston, TX.

 

Since then, he has created a large collection of songs. As  a writer, performer and artist Pablo has collaborated with various local artists. He has established himself within the Houston underground music scene.

 

His music is refreshing and an innovative mix; '60s revisited, blues oriented psychedelic sounds, with great melodies and catchy choruses. His lyrics are withdrawn from his personal life experiences.
