The Houston Sax Summit will feature four of Houston's top contemporary jazz saxophonists stretching out in a jam session that will include both individual solo features and wide-open blowing.  Kelly Dean and Mike Reed, featured with their own bands earlier in the day, will return to join longtime Houston favorite Kyle Turner and his funky/smooth band. Cameron Scott, who came up with the Houston Sax Summit concept last summer, will serve as the musical director. The jam promises to be a rare treat that should compete for attention with the musical acts on the main stages.
