Fish & Chips is a dance band playing traditional English, Irish, and American music for dances and sessions in the Houston area; their instruments include fiddles, flutes, concertinas, uillean pipes, harps, mandolins, bones, piano and guitars. Besides frequent appearances for local English country dance and American contradance groups, they have played at a number of local folk festivals and charity events. Their members also hold frequent house sessions in members’ homes, as was always the way in older times….there is never enough time to play music together, it seems!
