Gillette Brothers

 

 

In 1983 the Gillette brothers took over the family ranch, ,outside of Crockett, Texas, from their grandfather. It was a fortuitous turn of events because, at the same time, they found themselves part of a growing network of cowboy singers and poets who were re-vitalizing appreciation, in the state and throughout the region, for Western music and musical lore.
