Kyra Noons grew up singing in the choirs at school while growing up
in England, Jamaica and then America she joined with her sister Bianca to become the group
"Neutral Sisters" in 1998 and the two began writing songs together. Soon after their song Live-N-Direct was entered in the Billboard Songwriters competition which won them first place in the Pop category
during their eight years together as a group Kyra and Bianca/Neutral Sisters were known
as a new wave in Reggae and graced many stages, they opened for Luciano at
Tropical Insanity Spring break in Jamaica,opened for Bone Thugs and Harmony in Montego Bay Jamaica,performed on Sumfest in Jamaica hitting the stage right before Sean Paul and Sumfest in Miami hitting the stage right before Lady Saw. They also performed at the Rebel Salute in Jamaica hitting the stage right before Junior Gong/Damian Marley. They opened for Acon at the International Arts Festival in New Orleans.In Houston they had the opportunity of opening for Beres and Buju, Maxi Priest,Burning Spear,Sean Paul,Third World and The Wailers. Neutral Sisters performed at the opening of the Toyota Center in Houston and performed at the Main Event downtown Houston the year the Super Bowl came to town.Neutral Sisters toured in Texas with the Bob Marley festival
and also performed on the International festival in Houston for three consecutive years in a row
Neutral Sisters had the honor of performing at the first Marcus Garvey Tribute concert in Houston Tx.
The girls also performed at the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival in California. They also performed one year at the South By South West music fest in Austin
Neutral Sisters album "live~N~Direct" is a unique collection of original songs written by Kyra and Bianca blessed by the ever dynamic duo Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare and the legendary Ernie Ranglin as well as key board king Robbie Lynn and Beezy on guitar The girls producer John "Pops" Dowling wore many hats to take this album from dream to reality as musician, producer and engineer working out of the UB40 Studio in Oracabessa in Jamaica,
Robbies studio in Kingston and Yard Sound Studio in Houston Texas, much thanks and respect due to all involved.
Sadly two days before the duo were set to start their East African tour Bianca who had type one diabetes went into a coma. Bianca held on for a year before passing touching the hearts of so many people with her strength of character that shines on and will continue shining through her strong lyrics and vocals.
The new Single 'HOLD ON' was originally written by Kyra to Bianca the year that she was in a coma to give strength and love. after Bianca's transition into becoming an angel, Kyra went forward with taking a stand now as Neutral Sister continuing to blaze the fire brightmaking the video which at the same time as being a tribute to Bianca and an anthem to all sisters in need of strength has also been remixed into the single "Hold On Haiti" with a new video depicting the tragedy of the 2010 earthquake and the strength of the Haitian people to still be able to smile and hold on to hope.
Kyra is working on a new album which will be full of new collaborations from "Mr. Blacc Sheep" in "Hold On" and Tanzanian artist “LBT” in “Together” just to name a few. It will feature many new songs as well as songs that Bianca and Kyra did together that were not released.
Kyra grows from strength to strength forward eva backward never thanks to the support and strength of her manager and family she remains independent at this time under the label she and Bianca created Fi Wi Style Entertainment.
MR BLACC SHEEP, hails from the island of Trinidad & Tobago a ragga
fusion / reggae artist,was influenced at an early age by strongafrican roots,ragga soca, calypso,& soca music of which is the
signature music art form of his homeland of Trinidad, along with
reggae & hip hop which is commonly played throughout the
islands, developed his own unique style which is a combination of all
the music art forms he has been exposed to, due to a rough upbringing,
his music adresses issues like ,opression, sufferation ,love ,hate
,enlightenment,awareness ,happiness & basic education about life in
general,taking pattern from some of his childhood favorites like, BOB
MARLEY, BURNING SPEAR, BIG YOUTH & TENOR SAW,just to name a few,
decided to really share his talent with the world in his early
twenties,& after migrating to the United States in 1999, due to his
explosive , highly lyrical & always entertaining performances, was
blessed with the oppertunity to share many stages for the pass 8 years
in Houston Texas where he currently resides, & opened for major
artists like ...TAURUS REILY, BERRES HAMMOND, ASSASIN, ERUPT , CULTURE
& KYMANI MARLEY along with colabs with local Houston artists & bands
like DUBTEX,YARDBAND, YOUNGSTAR , CARMEN SANDIAGO, BUSHWICK BILL & THE
NEUTRAL SISTERS among many others, he is currently
working on an album, of which he likes to consider a universal type of
album for every creed color & race, adults & youths alike, especially
youths because they r the future & they need to be enlightened
& educated about life & the world in which we live in,So look out for
