Sound CheckShark Attack is a Reggae band out of Houston/Galveston Texas that blends traditional reggae, dub
, punk, and country into a style of their own.
In 1999, they came together in Seabrook, Texas, in Marc’s garage freestyling, and jammin’ out just for the fun of it. The garage quickly turned into a party central, and the guys decided it was time to record the original songs they had created and start playing shows.
Since then, they have recorded two full length CD’s, two EP’s, and played throughout the USA. They have toured regionally with the Bob Marley Festival, been on multiple national tours, and have played repeatedly with well known touring acts such as: Culture, Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, Long Beach Short Bus, The Wailers, and UB40, just to name a few. Shark Attack has also had music featured on movies and films including: Bad Trip, Miles to Surf, Good Fortune, and Tex 2 Mex Chix, just to name a few.
Shark Attack continues to instigate a party whenever they play live, and is currently working on new material.
