Volunteer Areas Descriptions

 

Stage Crew

Volunteers assist one of the many entertainment stages at the Festival. You must have festival Stage Crew experience and be available to work an entire day. You must attend a mandatory meeting – “A separate invite will be emailed with all the details”.




Hospitality Team

Help provide hospitality to both local and international musicians and performers. Duties include everything from airport, hotel, and transportation to assisting the performers with individual needs while they are visiting. You must attend a mandatory meeting to be a part of this committee – “A separate invite will be emailed with all the details”.



 

Volunteer Check-in

Help us get the volunteers checked in and escorted to their proper area.

 



Sponsor Area

Volunteers will help serve food and drinks in the sponsor hospitality area. We require volunteers working in this area to be mature, responsible, and at least 18 years old.
 



Admission Gates

Selling admission tickets, as well as collecting tickets at the gates. Each ticket booth will have a finance supervisor managing the booth.

 



Coupon Booths

Sell food and beverage coupons. Each coupon booth will have a finance supervisor managing the booth.

 



Beverage Booths

Sell soft drinks, beer, frozen margaritas and water. Must be at least 18 years old. (Must wear hat/cap.)



 

Flex Team

We consider this group the most “flexible” volunteers. These volunteers need to be ready to go wherever they are needed during their shift. These volunteers will be used to “fill in” for volunteers who do not show up or to cover last minute emergency needs.



 

Arts and Crafts Markets

Volunteers are needed to assist 600 artists from across the US. MARKETS ONLY NEED A MAXIMUM OF 3 VOLUNTEERS PER SHIFT TO WORK.

 



Kids Zone

Volunteers in this area will be asked to assist kids with games, activities, run non alcoholic beverage booth, coupon, or admission booth within the Kid Zone. Great place for students to work! Note: Groups will be limited to 15 members per shift due to high demand for this area.
 


 

Promotions

Volunteers will be placed in the area helping with different promotions directly related to the honored country. These could include: Sand Art exhibits, Photography exhibits, and more.

 


 

Wine Cafe

Have a knowledge or love of wine?  Help serve wine in our iFest Wine Cafe adjacent to the Sister Cities entertainment stage.  Must be 21 years old to work in this area.

 



iFest Preview Day & Lunchtime Concerts


Volunteers needed to staff beverage and coupon booths ONLY. Come help out at our free lunchtime concerts around the reflection pond near City Hall. Shift is from 10:30am-2:00pm on Friday, April 29.

 



Friday Night Concert

Volunteers will be assigned to various areas to support the Friday Night Concert.
